About Us...
The Michigan Association of Colleges of Nursing was established to be the voice of baccalaureate and higher degree education in the State of Michigan. MACN provides leadership for higher education in nursing, advocates on issues relevant to the organization, collects and analyzes data to guide nursing education in the state, and work with others to promote the health and well-being of the citizens of the state.
Membership of this organization is open to Chief Nurse Administrators of the educational units offering baccalaureate degree or higher degree in nursing, hold Michigan State Board of Nursing approval, are nationally accredited by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education (CCNE) or other U.S. Department of Education-recognized nursing accrediting agency.
The member organization must also be a member of AACN to continue membership in MACN.
